3. Ghum, Darjeeling
Ghum is the highest railway station with an altitude of about 7,405 feet. Located on the popular hill station in Darjeeling, this station is the last stop on the narrow measuring route of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling.
It is located in the town of Darjeeling and has views of mountains on all sides. It is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site list and offers some breathtaking views.

4. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is also known as “Victoria Terminus”. It was built in 1887, and the name was changed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in 1996. Axel Haig and Frederick Stevens are the architects of this Railway station. It is one of the best Railway stations in India with an Indo-Sarcenic Architecture style.

5. Barog, Kalka-Shimla
Barog Railway station is located on the Kalka-Shimla gauge train route and is also known as Tunnel Number 33. It was built in 1903 and is known to be a ghost of Colonel Barog in charge of tunnel construction once upon a time. You may find this station on your way to Shimla.
The historical association, famous tunnel, and location make it the most popular Railway station. Although there is a mountain right in front, a panoramic view of the entire region and the peak of the Great Himalayas also makes it an amazing stopover on the way to Shimla.

6. Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow
Charbagh Railway Station is located in Lucknow and is known for its Architectural masterpiece. You can see it as a monument instead of a Railway station. Built-in the early 20th century during the British Raj, this station was designed by J.H. Horniman and cost Rs 70 lakh at that time. It is well connected with all the country's major cities and is one of the two major Railway stations in Lucknow. Minars of Saracan and Domens were used for their construction which represents the architectural style of Nawabs.

7. Egmore Railway Station, Chennai
