This itinerary is the collection of ultimate experiences and destinations in some of the top tourism magnets of the land. The itinerary is rightly named as ‘Panorama’ as it give a panoramic view of the beauty of the land by taking the tourists to a list of handpicked epic destinations.
The Indian Panorama trip stretches for six nights and seven days starting and ending in Delhi. The itinerary covers Jaipur, Ranthambore, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho and Varanasi.
Tourists are requested to reach Safdurjung railway station in Delhi before 07:30 hours in the morning. The welcome ceremony and the check-in process start at 7:30 hours.
By 8:30 hours, the train starts its journey towards Jaipur and reaches there by 14:30 hours.
By 15:00 hours, tourists are taken on a city trip covering City Palace and dinner at the Rambagh Palace Hotel. Tourists are taken back to the train by 20:30 hours.
Breakfast (8:00 hours) and lunch (13:00 hours) are served on-board. Overnight stay in the train as the train stays in the Jaipur railway station.
The day starts with a Jaipur city tour. By 08:00 hours, tourists will be taken to Amber Fort.
After lunch, tourists can choose to enjoy spa session at any hotel, visit to City Palace and Jantar Mantar or a local city tour. Tourists are taken back to the train by 19:30 hours.
By 23:00 hours, the train starts its journey towards Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur).
Breakfast (7:00 hours), lunch (12:30 hours) and dinner (19:30 hours) are served in Maharajas' Express Restaurants. Overnight stay in the train as it runs towards Ranthambore.
The train reaches Ranthambore by early morning. By 06:00 hours, tourists are taken to Ranthambore National Park for the early morning game drive.
By 9:30 hours, tourists are taken back to the train and the train starts towards Fatehpur Sikri by 10:15 hours. By 14:30 hours, the train reaches Fatehpur Sikri. Tourists are taken on an exploration trip to Fatehpur Sikri by 15:30 hours. The tourists are taken back to the train by 18:00 hours and the train starts its trip towards Agra by late night.
Breakfast (09:45 hours), lunch (13:30 hours) and dinner (20:00 hours ) are served on-board. Overnight stay in the Maharajas' Express Train Cabins as the train moves towards Agra.
The train reaches Agra by very early morning. By 06:00 hours, tourists are taken to visit Taj Mahal. By 09:30 hours, a champagne breakfast is arranged at Taj Khema. Tourists are taken back to the train by 11:00 hours.
After lunch, tourists can choose to enjoy a spa session in any hotel, visit to Agra fort, exploring Itmad-ud-Daula, local city tour or catch the Mohabbat-The Taj Show.
Lunch (13:00 hours) and dinner (17:30 hours) are served on-board. Overnight stay in the train as the train moves towards Orchha.
Train reaches Jhansi by 07:30 hours. Tourists are taken to Orchha on a road trip to visit Orchha Fort, villages and tuk-tuk ride.
Tourists are taken back to the train by 10:00 hours and the train starts its journey towards Khajuraho. It reaches Khajuraho by 15:30 hours and tourists are taken on a temple visit to the Western Group of Temples of Khajuraho.
Tourists reach Maharajas’ Express by 18:00 hours. Later, they can choose to spend their evening with a spa session or the light and sound show in the temple complex or the Dances of India show.
By 23:10 hours, the train starts its journey towards Varanasi.
Breakfast (06:30 hours), lunch (12:00 hours) and dinner (20:00 hours) are served on-board. Overnight stay in the train as it moves towards Varanasi.
The train reaches Varanasi by 12:00 hours. The tourists are taken on a city trip and a lunch at the Taj Ganges Hotel.
By 14:30 hours, they are taken to explore the Sarnath Ruines and the Silk Weaving Center. By 16:30 hours, the tourists are taken on a boat ride on the River Ganges to watch the Ganga Aarti ceremony.
By 17:30 hours, tourists are taken to Brij Rama Palace for a vegetarian dinner and cultural Kathak dance performance. Tourists are taken back to the train by 21:00 hours and the train starts its journey towards Delhi by 21:15 hours.
The train reaches Delhi by 15:00 hours and the Indian Panorama tour ends. Tourists can de-board the train after checkout process.
