Booking Policy
Independent Travelers :
- If you are independent travelers then you need to pay 20% of the ticket value at the time of confirming the booking and 80% of ticket amount need to released 60 days before the departure date.
Child Policy :
- 10% ticket value is chargeable for children below the age of 5 years. 5 to 12 years of kids can travel with 50% of the ticket value. Age proof certificate needs to be furnished at the time of issuing the tickets.
Cancellation Policy
Traveler can cancel the booking at any time but it should be informed to Palace on Wheels through email or fax. The refund will be initiated right after confirmation of cancellation but the refund amount will depend on the number of days remain for the train departure. I
Independent travelers (FITs):
- 95% of the ticket amount will be refunded if cancellation is made 60 days prior to the departure date.
- 80% of the ticket amount refunded if cancellation is made 30-59 days before the departure.
- In case traveler cancels the tickets in less than 30 days before the departure date then no amount will be refunded.
