India’s Sleeper (First-Of-Its-Kind) Vande Bharat Exp. Running Between UP & Mumbai

Spokespersons have confirmed that Vande Bharat Express is about to launch its sleeper-class Express train. The route is set to link UP state and Mumbai. Indian Railways aims to link India’s Biggest and most populated state with its business capital.
As per spokespersons, the launch is expected by July 2025. It will run between Lucknow and Mumbai. Passengers can now enjoy this long-distance journey reduced in time by a few hours. This certainly can be considered a significant achievement of the Indian Railway.

The express train offers the best sleeper coach service in comfort and style. Commuters have the convenience of selecting from 20 A/C coaches. They can also book for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd A/C coaches. They can also select two-tier class or SLR (seating-cum-luggage) coach services during their travels.

Route and Connectivity
Indian Railways has put in efforts and planning before it decided on the route. The express train service connects the two most important destinations in India – Mumbai and UP (Lucknow). This also means that the journey through the two destinations will link other important destinations as well, in in-between.
If you look at the entire traverse of the journey, other important stations include Haardoi Station, Shahjahanpur Junction, Bareilly Junction, Rampur Station, Moradabad, Ghaziabad Junction, Hazrat Nizamuddin Junction, and Agra Junction.
The express train will take an alternative route from Agra Junction to reach Mumbai Station. It is also certain that Indian Railways has decided to operate the service four days a week. The services have been decided to offer comfort to passengers travelling from L: Lucknow and Mumbai. There are other alternatives as well, but you may have to compromise on comfort, style, and journey time.
