The train comprises 14 salons which are named after different provinces of Rajasthan. It also has two Restaurant named as Maharani Restaurant and Maharaja Restaurant, with world class facilities like Spa, exotic bar, internet connectivity, Live TV, security and music.

2. The Maharajas Express

The Maharajas Express luxury train is a joint venture between travel agency Cox and Kings and IRCTC. This train was first commercially started on 9th January 2010. It is the newest and costliest train in India, which is well-equipped with a plethora of royal facilities including bar and lounge, large dining, generator, direct dial phone, LCD TVs, individual temperature controls, the internet, and in-suite bathroom as well.

The Golden Chariot luxury tourist train was started by the KSTDC in order to interconnect several tourist spots in the state of Goa and Karnataka. Commercially started on March 10, 2008; this luxury train was named after the famous “Stone Chariot” of Hampi.
